Zivika escaped and pursued her dreams because of you.

Zivika

Zivika is a young woman who grew up with hopes of independence and creative work, becoming a makeup artist. Those hopes were interrupted when she was pushed into an early marriage under family pressure, leaving her with little choice or control over her own life.

Over time, Zivika recognised that the situation she was living in was unsafe. With no family support and limited resources, she made the difficult decision to leave and seek a different future. Taking this step was daunting, but it marked the beginning of her reclaiming agency over her life.

When Zivika connected with support services, she was met with patience, safety, and consistent care. Through counselling and steady guidance, she began rebuilding confidence and trust in her own decisions. Having a stable space allowed her to focus on what she wanted next.

Today, Zivika is working while training in a professional skill she is passionate about - make-up artistry. She earns her own income, makes her own choices, and is planning her future on her own terms.

Zivika’s journey shows what becomes possible when women have access to safety, information, and support. With time and accompaniment, she has moved from surviving difficult circumstances to shaping a life defined by dignity and independence.
