You Can Defeat Poverty - Educate A Child In India!

Thanks to you, children in India are receiving essential education that they otherwise would not be able to afford! 

Durga is in the 10th grade. Because of your generosity, she is able to go to school every day and learn more about her favorite subject, science. 

Many girls are not given the opportunity to go to school in rural India. It is too expensive, so priority goes to the boys. Too often, these girls' only options are fall into child labor or child marriage. 

But because of you, Durga does get the chance to learn. This is what she says about it:

"I am so happy I get to go to school. I have great encouragement and I wish to study well and utilize this great opportunity I have. Even many of my friends have no privilege to have all these supplies. This year I want to achieve good grades in my class. Eventually, I would like to become a beautician or teacher."

Thank you for giving a child a chance at an education and loving care! 

Both of Palavi's parents died when she was very young. Her grandmother took her and her sister in, but she could barely support them both. During the summer, her grandmother would send her and her sister to work breaking roasted cashew nuts. The work would give Palavi wounds all over her hands.

But thanks to you, your generosity changed everything for Palavi. Because of your gifts, she was able to move into the Children's home, where both her and her sister can live safely with proper care. Palavi is going to school and getting an education. You are providing for all her basic needs.

"I am so happy that I get to go to school and have good food," says Palavi.
