Support Us To Make Clean Water Available In Twifo
By Matthew Aidoo | Projects Coordinator
The lives of our people in communities of our project area continues to be threaten as a result of illegal mining activities. Almost all the river bodies in our area are polluted. Our people have to depend on sachet water for drinking and domestic use, which many households cannot afford. The lives of women and children has been impacted negatively as a result of these activities of illegal miners. Though the government authority is fighting a war against this, there are still challenges on the ground. Emilia Obeng (not her real name) and her children are among the people in three identified communities in our project area who are seriously affected by these illegal mining. The lives of over 3000 people in the identified communities are in danger. They need clean water to ensure their safety and good health. We need your support to construct new water system by drilling more mechanized boreholes to make clean water available to our people. We cherish your donations over the years, which helped us to construct a number hand dug wells fitted with hand pumps and now mechanized boreholes water system in the communities. These clean water facilities provided in the beneficiary communities continue to impact positively in the lives of our people.
We therefore need your continuous support to donate to our project to make this possible. Tell family and friends to donate generously to make clean water accessible in our project communities to save lives.
We thank you all and look forward to receive your donations to continue with our work.

Musianso Number-2 Community Water System Is Now Completed.
By Matthew Aidoo | Projects Coordinator
Finally, water is now flowing from the completed new water system in Musiaso Number-2 community. It has been a long journey since the first quarter of 2022 to complete work on the new water system. Due to slow inflows of donations, it has taken us this long period for the community to access clean water. Increasingly, access to clean water in our part of the world has become a major live threatening problem due to activities of illegal mining. Most of the water bodies have been heavily polluted. Many people in our communities, especially women and children are impacted negatively in their daily lives. We have to build more new water systems in our project communities for our people to have access to clean water for good health. About 3 of our project communities are seriously in need of the clean water facilities to have good health. Emilia Obeng (not her real name) and her children in one of our project communities want to have clean water system in their community to ensure good health. As we enter the dry season in our part of the world as well as the New Year 2025, we call on our cherish donors family and friends to donate generously to help us address clean water accessibility in our project communities to save lives.
We are still counting on your generosity and look forward to receive your donations soon.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance.

Water Will Soon Flow From The New Water System.
By Matthew Aidoo | Projects Coordinator
As stated in our last report, the project community members are eager to see water flow from the new water system under construction, so that they can have access to the clean water. But the slow inflow of donations is delaying the completion of the new water system. The new water system, which was started in the first quarter of 2022 is about 90% completion. Your donations and the project community’s support has help us to reach this stage, however some finishing touches are still yet to be done to make the clean water accessible to our people. We have to buy additional cement to do some plastering of the concrete platform, fixing of the tabs and connection of the pump to electricity. We are presently organizing local and community support for some funds to complete the work. We need your donations and continuous support to complete ongoing work on the water system and also start new ones. We have to indicate that access of water for domestic use in our project communities is very worrying. Almost all our water bodies and rivers has been heavily polluted due to illegal mining.
Clean water accessibility in the project communities is still a big problem affecting many households including Esi Manu (not real name). We want to quickly complete the new water system for the people to access clean water. We need your donations, tell family and friends to donate and help us complete the work and start new ones for other communities.
We are still counting on your generosity and look forward to receive your donations soon.
