Support Us To Make Clean Water Available In Twifo

By Matthew Aidoo | Projects Coordinator

The lives of our people in communities of our project area continues to be threaten as a result of illegal mining activities. Almost all the river bodies in our area are polluted. Our people have to depend on sachet water for drinking and domestic use, which many households cannot afford. The lives of women and children has been impacted negatively as a result of these activities of illegal miners. Though the government authority is fighting a war against this, there are still challenges on the ground. Emilia Obeng (not her real name) and her children are among the people in three identified communities in our project area who are seriously affected by these illegal mining. The lives of over 3000 people in the identified communities are in danger. They need clean water to ensure their safety and good health. We need your support to construct new water system by drilling more mechanized boreholes to make clean water available to our people. We cherish your donations over the years, which helped us to construct a number hand dug wells fitted with hand pumps and now mechanized boreholes water system in the communities. These clean water facilities provided in the beneficiary communities continue to impact positively in the lives of our people.

We therefore need your continuous support to donate to our project to make this possible. Tell family and friends to donate generously to make clean water accessible in our project communities to save lives.

We thank you all and look forward to receive your donations to continue with our work.
