We have been looking forward to receive funds to procure an electric pump to complete work on the new water system at Twifo Osenegya. We have not been successful in the past three months to achieve this. Work on the new water system is almost done, we have completed the concrete platform, mount the polytank with the plumbing work done. We now need the electric pump to connect to the drilled borehole with electricity to pump water into the polytank for the community to have access to the clean water. Mavis Okyire (not real name) and her 5 children as well as the community members are very anxious to see water flowing from the new water system as soon as possible.
In this regards, we are appealing to our cherish donors to help us by donating to our project to enable us complete the Osenegya water system and also to start drilling of boreholes in the new identified communities.

The water system started last year 2018 at Gomoa Oguaa and Gomoa Odina with funds donated for the C-WOW project has now been completed. The two Water system were commissioned in early February 2019. The two beneficiary communities are currently accessing clean water closer to their homes. As a result women and children in the communities no more walk long distances to access unwholesome water, which they have used from generation to generation. Everybody in these two communities are full of praises to the donors who make this possible. Work started on another two (2) new water systems are progressing steadily in the new project communities at Twifo Mbaabaasa and Twifo Oseneagya. The borehole drilling has been completed on the water systems and work on the concrete platform has been completed on one of the Wells. The poly-tank has also been mounted and the electric pump fixed with the plumbing works being completed for water to flow. We need electric pump to fix on the second water system to complete it as soon as possible. We are therefore appealing to our cherish donors to help us procure additional pumps to completed work on the new water system and start new ones.

Work Is Progressing On The New Project Communities
By Matthew Aidoo | Projects Coordinator
Work started in the last quarter has progressed steadily. Two (2) new water systems were started at Gomoa Oguaa and Gomoa Odina. Funds received last year towards the C-WOW project has been used to drill the boreholes. Poly tanks has been procured together with the pumps and other materials for the completion of the water systems. The platforms for mounting the poly tanks are almost done and the community would soon see water flowing for their use. The two beneficiary communities has been very cooperative and happy to see their dreams of accessing clean water come true. Both children and the elderly are hoppy because they would not walk long distance for unclean water they share with animals anymore.
To enable us complete work on our ongoing water systems and start new ones, we are appealing to our cherish donors to continue to donate for the activities our project.
