March 2022 updates!

By Sarah Mansfield | Operations Manager

It is definitely springtime here in San Diego! The local parrots have started displaying nesting behaviors in our beach communities. That means rescued babies and juveniles will start showing up soon, so we've been busy "spring cleaning" and setting up our supplies, enclosures, and everything else that we'll need in preparation for our upcoming busy time of the year.

We are also VERY happy to have successfully released a couple dozen wild Conures back to their family flock(s) this month. After some delays due to the pandemic, we had a little surplus of Conures and have been eagerly planning out their return to the wild. The only reason we can continue doing this important work is because of YOUR continued support and donations!

The photos included in this quarter's report are some of our recent rehab patients. We couldn't have rescued them without your help! Also, I've included a link to our website where you can check out the new shirts and tank tops we currently have available. Enjoy your Spring!
