"Help the Babies Grow Healthy"

Dear MaviKalem donor,

Once again, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for your generous and continuous support to MaviKalem's "Help the Babies Grow Healthy" project.

Following the February 6 earthquakes, MaviKalem began emergency response efforts in the earthquake zone to empower affected communities. With your donations, we met the basic needs of children and women, built playgrounds, and conducted psychosocial support activities.

More than 1.5 years have passed since the earthquakes. However, most of the population, especially in Hatay province, continues to live in container cities. Protection from hot and cold weather in temporary shelters brings many hygiene and health risks. For this reason, we attach importance to providing basic hygiene and sanitation kits, especially during the summer months. Since our last report, with your donations, we have provided hygiene kits for 20 more children and basic care kits for 20 babies.

Thank you once again for your unwavering support. Your contributions have made a significant impact and we look forward to your continued support as we work for the long-term recovery and development of earthquake-affected communities.

Dear donor

We have prepared this report to thank you for your support to our project and to show that your donations are reaching the right people at the right time.

Following the February 6, 2023 Kahramanmaras earthquake, one of Turkey's most devastating disasters, women and children living in temporary shelters continue to face both physical and psychological needs.

With your support, Mavi Kalem established a container office in Hatay, one of the provinces most affected by the earthquake. We continue to distribute materials and carry out various projects, including psychosocial support activities, in line with the needs we have identified.

With your donations, we have provided hiyen materials to 110 children in the last three months.

We want to continue working in the earthquake-affected region. Knowing that you are with us is very important for us to continue.
