We are 60% of the way to our goal of $40,000 to empower another community to end child marriage in Mexico! As you know, Mexico is one of the countries with the highest rate of child marriage in the world. Almost 300,000 of today's girls and boys have been forced into marriage, most of them sold, and to an older spouse. Facilitating community processes, in Yo quiero Yo puedo we have already ended the sale of girls for marriage in 3 communities. With your support, we are almost ready to continue impacting many more communities in Mexico where child marriage persists. Will you help us spread the word to your friends and family so that we can reach 100% of our goal and change the lives of many more girls in the mountains of Guerrero? Our virtual tank is almost full of gas but we need a bit more support from the incredible GlobalGiving community to get all the way there.
