Hope, Opportunity for 3,200 kids in Eastern Europe

In the face of poverty and conflict, children often find themselves losing hope. In the weeks leading up to Christmas, we had the poignant experience of reading letters to Santa from young children. Their requests varied from simple wishes for cuddly toys to more urgent pleas for food and safety. Some expressed concern that Santa might not visit due to the ongoing war and bombings.

It is profoundly saddening to witness children burdened with such stress and worry.

In collaboration with our dedicated partners, we took proactive steps to address these challenges. Special events were organized for the children and their families, creating a space for them to celebrate Christmas despite their difficult circumstances. The events included provisions of food, special gifts for the children, and essential supplies for families in desperate need.

The overwhelming response from the children and their families reflected genuine gratitude for the kindness extended by people like you. Witnessing the spark of hope reignited in their hearts was a testament to the positive impact our collective efforts can achieve.

It only takes a few compassionate individuals to change a life, to shift the belief that even during the most challenging times, hope can prevail, and positive change is possible.

Dear supporter,

It is our mission to make every child's life as rich and richer as possible, so we have been devoted to children for 50 years. This year we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of our organization, and with the support of our supporters, we remember the stories of inspiration and change that have occurred since then.

Over the years, people like you have enabled us to witness children walk, hear for the first time, escape prostitution and theft, speak for the first time, and see children with disabilities find hope.

During the month of September, we were able to ensure that school-age children had everything they needed to attend school, including stationary, clothes, and other essentials. Children are not able to attend school in some cases because of the lack of these necessities.

Gifts were accepted with gratitude by the children and their families, who asked us to thank all those who contributed to the project.

A mother thanked us and all the wonderful people who supported her family through a difficult time, saying she will never forget this.

It is during difficult times that we come together to support and change the lives of children and their families.
