December Project Update - End of the Year Party

By Shoshana Grossman-Crist | Communications and Quality Control Coordinator

IMIFAP-“I want to, I can” and program participants celebrated endings and new beginnings for the “I want to, I can” Development Center program this December. Read on about our end of the year holiday celebration and the exciting start of a new Development Center next year!

December can be a tough time for the children at the “I want to, I can” Development Center in Orizaba whose migrant parents are away from home over the holidays. The Center’s end of the year party gave the children something to celebrate as promoters, caretakers, children and members of the community came together in celebration of the Center’s success this year.

With the New Year comes a new “I want to, I can” Development Center in the town of Remedios, Hidalgo. The training of the Center’s promoters (local members of the community) will begin in January, with the Center opening shortly after. Another reason to celebrate this holiday season!

Your donation helped support the launch of the new Center in Remedios, and will ensure that activities at the Center in Orizaba continue strong over the next year. Thank you for your support!
