A lot is happening at Hacker School as we enter the final stretch of 2026. We have now inspired over 12,000 young people this year. This brings us one step closer to our long-term vision — giving every young person the chance to learn programming before they decide on a career.
This year, we attended numerous events to reach children and young people — for example, the AI Festival in Heilbronn and the Young Makers Festival in Hamburg.
From September 21–25, 2026, the CITY Hacker School Kaiserslautern will take place at Universität Kaiserslautern (HSKL) and Rheinland-Pfälzische Technische Universität Kaiserslautern-Landau (RPTU). In hands-on coding sessions, nearly 1.000 seventh graders will create their very first website within just three hours and take their first steps into algorithmic thinking. We are incredibly proud to bring this unique initiative to Kaiserslautern together with dedicated students and the WIPOTEC Foundation.
And our 2025 Impact Report is finally online! Since 2021, we've been tracking our impact and making it transparent for all supporters. The report is available in German on our website. As we prepare for the final months of the year, the focus remains on building new partnerships, and hosting exciting events that will further drive our mission forward.
Thank you for supporting us in our mission to make digital education accessible, inspiring, and fun for all!
