Republic Day Celebrations At Isha Vidhya
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
rep-day-2021-1
Republic Day Of India was celebrated
in all Isha Vidhya schools, in compliance
with the government’s Covid-19 protocols.
Welcoming of the Chief Guests, flag hoisting,
singing of the National Anthem, speeches
of the Chief Guests and Principals of the
respective schools took place as per the
tradition. Some schools distributed prizes
to the students who topped the Grade 10
examinations.
Since most of the students are still studying
from home, they were not present in the
functions. The school staff were present.
We are attaching the pictures of the
celebrations.
We thank you for your support to
Isha Vidhya, and look forward for
your continued support. If you would
like to volunteer for any of our ongoing
efforts, please write to us over email at

Grade 10 & 12 students are back to schools!
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
back-to-school-jan-31-2021-1
Dear Patrons,
We would like to bring you the
happy news that Isha Vidhya
schools have reopened partially
to students after a long gap.
Following the guidelines set by the
Education Department, our schools
reopened for students of Grade 10
and Grade 12 on 19th January!
Both teachers and students were
overjoyed to be back in the schools
after months of online classes.
There was no academic activity
on the first day. It was all about
reinforcing awareness of COVID-19
protocol, strictly adhering to it, and
instilling confidence in our students.
We are so happy that the students
are getting back to schools! We will
keep you posted on the updates.
We thank you for all your support
in the past, and we look forward
for your continued support!
If you have any questions, please
email us at global.giving@ishavidhya.org
Thanks & Best Regards.

Storytelling With A Difference
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
Storytelling-Jan-24-2021
Aadithya Arjun, an internationally certified
storyteller, conducted an online storytelling
and drawing session for students of grades
3 through 5.
She captivated the students by enacting and
singing the story and using objects to represent
the characters in the story. She then teased
their imagination by giving them clues to
draw something instead of revealing the
topic. e.g. clues to draw a frog were it’s
green and croaks.
The students drew with inspiration and
quickly shared their drawings online.
They now want more such sessions.
A teacher from Isha Vidhya, Aragonda, says
this session has given them a new
understanding of how to tell stories
creatively to engage students’ interest.
