Year-End Cheer: Jumps Of Success!
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
Diwan-IV-19-12-2020
Diwan, son of a fisherman, is 5'7”.
He loves high-jump. Last year, he
won the first prize at the Zonal level
high-jump event. He won at the
district level too! He was part of the
volleyball team that took the first
place at the zonal meet.
What started as a childhood dream
soon became a serious endeavor,
with his sports teachers honing his
athletic skills. Diwan practices yoga
as he thinks it will refine his life.
Diwan, who joined Isha Vidhya’s
Cuddalore school in Grade 2, is
now studying in Grade 11. He has
trained his sights to set up his own
software company in line with his
passion for coding and robotics!
Diwan is an inspiration for all of
us in nurturing his in-built talent
as well setting his career goal early
in life. We wish Diwan the very
best in his endeavors.
We thank you for supporting
your project Isha Vidhya, which
has been working tirelessly for the
past 15 years to educate rural
children like Diwan. We look
forward for your continued
engagement.
Thanks & Best Regards,

Year-End Cheer: Adobe UK Employees Volunteer!
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
Adobe-UK-Employees-Volunteering-17-12-2020
A team of 7 technology employees
from Adobe UK helped us organize
our learning database and optimize
home learning! They created the
structure and templates to organize
all study materials in an easily
shareable online folder, allowing the
students focus most of their time on
learning, and freeing up our teachers’
time to support the children instead
of trying resolving technical issues.
Besides promising further support
soon, the employees also raised money
by logging their time on the Adobe’s
Social Impact portal! The team
members shared that they were happy
to contribute to a good cause like
Isha Vidhya, especially to help children,
who are the hope of India!
We thank all the individual as well as
corporate volunteers whose help made
a significant difference in the lives of
rural children of India, enabling them
to learn well! We thank you too for your
kind generosity, and look forward for
your continued support!
Thanks & Best Regards,

Mentoring Ways To Success: A CA session
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
AmritaGowri-15-12-2020
Mr. Vyomesh Pathak, a seasoned
Chartered Accountant, recently conducted
a “Get Mentored” session to teach students
the fundamentals of Chartered Accountancy.
He shared all the specifics of the study
programme, the fee structure, the exam
procedures, the scope of employment,
and the various roles of a CA. Amritagowri
of Grade 11 from Isha Vidhya Erode, says,
“He gave us a mantra to become a CA:
Hard work + Dedication = CA. This session was
inspiring.”
Sangeetha, a teacher at Isha Vidhya Cuddalore,
says, “The session was very informative and
will help me as a teacher to guide students about
it hereafter. Besides benefitting our students,
this wonderful session was very useful to us
teachers too.”
At Isha Vidhya, we try to bring in experts
from multiple fields to guide and motivate
our students. If you know of someone who is
an expert in any field, you can please email
us at global.giving@ishavidhya.org, and
we will see if we can setup an online session.
Thank you so much for your continued
involvement with our project, and we look
forward for your continued engagement!
Thanks & Best Regards,
