Success Story: Keerthana Joins MBBS !
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
Keerthana-12-12-2020
Keerthana, a scholarship student,
and a class topper from Isha Vidhya,
Coimbatore, has secured admission
at the Government Medical College
in Coimbatore!
Keerthana shares: “Thank you so
much, all my teachers, the Principal,
the Vice Principal, coordinators, and
the admin staff for all your wonderful
encouragement and support. This
wouldn’t have be possible without you.
You are consistently dedicated to
bringing the best from us. I’m proud
that I was able to enroll in MBBS
(Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor
of Surgery, India) and hope to serve
in rural areas after I become a doctor.
I also want to help educate children
as my donor did for me. In the future,
I’m sure we’ll see many Isha Vidhya
students rising and blooming. Above
all, I’m very grateful to Sadhguru for
this wonderful school for rural children
like me!”
Do you know how big this achievement
is for Isha Vidhya!
This is one of the key successes we
have had at Isha Vidhya! You would
notice how Keerthana intends to
serve the rural areas once she becomes
a doctor. This is Isha Vidhya’s mission
to bring out a transformation in the
education landscape of rural India,
and thus removing the poverty and
enabling development and growth!
It is all your support and contributions
that are yielding fruit! We are very happy
to bring this great news during the
December holiday giving season, and
we hope that many more children like
Keerthana get educated and continue
to contribute to the rural areas!
Thanks & Best Regards,

Nurturing A Talented Life - Story of Rithin
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
Rithin-Dharmapuri-04-12-2020
Rithin of 10th grade in Dharmapuri
Isha Vidhya school, is a bright student.
He has been studying at Isha Vidhya
since his second grade. He has been
performing really well in his studies.
His aim is to become a Software Engineer.
Rithin enthusiastically participates in all
activities along with the online classes.
He observes well, and learns quickly.
Currently, Rithin is enrolled in
“Forever Learning”, “Big History”, and
“Get Mentored” sessions, and attends
them without fail.
Rithin has solved Rubik’s cube in 56
seconds! He got an appreciation letter
for this achievement from Isha Education’s
Founder Sadhguru!
His achievement that was also shared in
the Times of India newspaper.
Rithins father works at a tea shop. His
mother works as an admin staff in
Dharmapuri Isha Vidhya school. Currently,
there is a little bit of struggle for the smooth
running of Rithin’s family because of the
Covid-19 situation, as admin staff have been
asked to work for 12 days a month.
Rithin’s sister studies at the same school
in the 9th grade. Both are using the same
mobile for online and video classes. Network
and power supply issues are the biggest
challenges for Rithin and his sister in
attending the online classes. Rithin is
concerned because his eyes are getting
irritated, as he is with his mobile most of
the times. But he feels happy that he is able
to learn from home, doing various activities
including class work writing.
Rithin misses his friends, the class room
learning, his teachers, and the Physical
Education Training sessions with friends.
Most importantly, he misses the celebrations
at the school.
In his spare time, Rithin joins his father in
agriculture work. Recently, he planted paddy.
He has also tried out some drawings, and new
steps in dance!
