Dear Patrons,
Thank you so much for staying
engaged with Isha Vidhya during
these tough times of Covid-19.
Our schools remain closed, and
students are taking classes online.
In the mean time, there is a plan
to have the teachers in the school
to facilitate better organizing,
training, and handholding, and for
this, the teachers need to be
transported to the schools.
During normal operations, the
transportation costs for bus fuel, etc.
were charged as transportation fees
from the students, but now since
the students are not attending the
schools, we are not charging them
anymore, and so, there is a deficit
for transportation fuel costs.
As we don't want to charge the
teachers for transportation, who
are already tackling very tough
situations, we would like to close
this deficit by raising funds for this
purpose.
We have included a new donation
option for school buses fuel for ferrying
just the teachers, and have assigned
$25 for that purpose.
We have moved the academic material
including STEM from $25 to $30 to make
space for the new $25 purpose.
We thank you for your attention regarding
this. We encourage you to donate towards
the school bus fuel as much as you can
(you can even use the 'Other amount' option
and donate whatever you wish to donate,
and leave us a note in the donation form,
so that we will use it for the bus fuel).
You could even consider starting a
monthly recurring donation for $25.
As always, we continue to keep you
updated on the proceedings, and we
thank you for your continued support.
We look forward for your continued
engagement. If you have any questions,
please feel free to email
global.giving@ishavidhya.org .
Thanks & Best Regards,
