Anand’s father dream is to have his son work in a

TMM 2020 Awards Update
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
TMM2020Awards-06112020
To honor and celebrate the contributions
of fundraisers of last year’s Mumbai
Marathon, the TMM 2020 (Tata
Mumbai Marathon) awards ceremony
was held at Mumbai's Raj Bhavan.
While the event is usually held in
March or April every year, due to the Covid
situation, it took place last week, with only
awardees being present at the function. The
winners received their awards from
The Hon. Governor of Maharashtra,
Shri. Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
Isha Vidhya walked away with the award
for the third-highest fundraising NGO
(INR 2.05 Crores). Isha Vidhya stood
among the top three fundraisers thanks
to the enduring efforts of 45 fundraisers.
Among them, Mr. Sadashiv Rao raised
a whopping Rs. 1.16 cr, and received the
TMM Change Legends Award (3rd place)
this year. He has been fundraising for
Isha Vidhya since 2009, and has raised
INR 3.7 Crores to date, in addition to
running the half marathon every year
at the event. On this remarkable
achievement, Mr. Rao puts it with
humility, “I don’t think I have achieved
anything by raising money for Isha Vidhya.”
We thank our fundraisers from the bottom
of our hearts!
