Dear Donors,
175 youth benefitted from the annual youth engagement organized every summer and seeks to distract them from risky behaviors, such as juvenile delinquency, drug abuse, HIV/AIDS and STI’S, Reach Out have being visiting beneficiaries both at school and in their homes to measure the degree of success.
As we write to you, we are glad, we are happy your donations are making a difference and building our youth towards a better tomorrow in an emerging country.
These are our success stories:
Malize, a form 2 student of the Baptist High School in Buea is grateful for the lessons and material support received during the youth engagement program. "I can today excel and be amonsgt the best students in my class thanks to the counselling i received during the youth engagement program. I wish to be part of the program this 2014 again". Her progress records we reviewed revealed the truth in her confession.
The father of Joel confessed that, he was motivated to borrow money to supplement what Reach Out Cameroon gave his son as back to school materials to make sure his son did not miss the academic year. To him, if someone else is concern about the education of your son, it should be worth sacrificing for.
Michael confessed that, he joined the health club of their school to learn more about HIV/AIDS, hygiene and sanitation and other health related issues thanks to the lessons learned during the Youth Engagement Program.
Thank you dear donors for continues support to improving lives in our community. Expect our next report after the 2014 edition of the Youth Engagement Program.
