The early year of childhood is the time when growth is dependent on proper nutrition which is essential for a solid foundation of a healthy life. Children having poor diets due to lack of food or inadequate intake of nutrients are prone to short term and long term health diseases and arestrongly affected mentally, physically and academically.
According to President and chief executive officer (CEO) of Save the Children Carolyn Miles in Pakistan, 35 per cent of deaths of children under-five can be attributed to malnutrition in the country.
NUR Foundation and Fatima Memorial Hospital have initiated its school meal program which provides weekly lunches to all of the children currently studying at NUR Foundation School. Given the financial backgrounds these kids come from having a full meal each day is becoming difficult with each passing day because of the dire financial constraints the families face. ,
NUR Foundation Schools are striving to provide its 1850 students healthy meals and will like to make provide them on a daily basis but due to financial constraints it is very difficult to provide meal on daily basis. To reach this goal we need your generous support so that we all can continue to see their happy faces.
Please donate and change their lives.
