Training local women saving groups in Tororo

Celebrating the Success of Women Saving Groups
As we conclude this reporting period, we celebrate the remarkable achievements of women saving groups across the communities we serve. Through commitment, cooperation, and determination, members have continued to improve their economic well-being and strengthen their families.
Women increased savings, accessed loans, expanded businesses, invested in agriculture, supported education, improved housing, and met healthcare needs. These accomplishments reflect the transformative impact of collective financial action.
The groups have become more than savings mechanisms. They serve as platforms for leadership development, mentorship, learning, and community engagement. Women are gaining confidence, building resilience, and creating opportunities for future generations.
Families have benefited from increased income, improved food security, and greater financial stability. Communities have witnessed stronger social cohesion and greater participation of women in local development efforts.
While challenges remain, the progress achieved demonstrates what is possible when women are equipped with the tools and support needed to succeed. Every contribution made through GlobalGiving has helped create meaningful and lasting change.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all donors whose generosity continues to empower women, strengthen families, and build brighter futures throughout rural communities. Their support is creating opportunities that will have lasting impact for years to come.
