Dear donor and friend, we made another hundred!!! Our spay/neuter program is flourishing!! Now we are heading straight towards the magic number 400, can you believe it?? Thank you so much for your trust and support. Fortunately, we could lately add a great number of cats to our list, because people are more willing to adopt a rescue, knowing that we spay/neuter them by maintaining a good service at a low cost or even for free.
Below, our most outstanding cases.
Hallie was found in the streets, abandoned because of her age, in heat. The neighbors contacted us, asking for help. We spayed and let her rest for some days, and one of the neighbors invited her home. Every now and then she sends pics of a totally changed, smiling dog lady.
Betti, Nacho, Dakota, Dulce, Hanna and her four pups were found on a closed parking lot, left alone without food, water or shelter. They all belonged to a clandestine puppy mill, exploited and forgotten, when their abuser died. We succeeded in rescuing them together, hid them in a safe place, where they could recover and be sterilized. Soon they found their forever homes, even Betti, a gentle grandma, who was the first to conquer her adopter’s heart. Only Dulce is still waiting for a match.
Ozzy-to is a young stray, a sweet boy who likes o visit a local café, pet friendly and in charge to find him a human match. We neutered him recently, a godfather pays for his recovery at a foster home and we cross fingers that his dream partner appears soon.
Felia is our special friend, a feral cat who was captured in order to be spayed and set free again. But she was pregnant, what changed our plans. A week later she gave birth to five beautiful kittens, and after three months raising her litter, it was her turn. As she was blind on one of her eyes, an enucleation was performed the same day she was spayed. She recovered well, and the decision was made to give her back to nature, given that she never fit into a homelike life.
As you probably can imagine, there are hundreds of stories worth to be told, luckily enough almost every furry friend we spay or neuter, finds a new forever home, which gives our cause a double meaning of satisfaction. Thank you again, for making this possible.
