Supporting Dignity and Care for the Elderly: A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Generosity

Respected Friend of SERUDS Charity,
Warm Greetings from SERUDS

We are pleased and honored to share that our charity has been recognized as a Top-Ranked and Effective Nonprofit Organization for the year 2021 by the 501c3 tax-deductible nonprofit organization, GlobalGiving Foundation, USA. This recognition would not have been possible without your generous support, and we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to you for your contributions to feeding the vulnerable elderly residents at the Happy Old Age Home.

We will always remember your kindness in helping provide for the daily needs of the neglected senior citizens in our elderly home, which was established by SERUDS Charity. Nine years ago, we began this initiative with just five elderly individuals, whom we identified in the remote rural areas of Kurnool District. Today, we care for twenty elderly residents, ranging in age from 60 to 90 years, who receive nutritious meals every day—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During festive seasons, we also provide clothes to all the residents of the home. In addition to these provisions, we ensure regular health checkups by medical experts to ensure the well-being of all the beneficiaries.

Over the years, we have observed that many elderly people are abandoned by their families due to internal conflicts, particularly disputes between daughters-in-law and mothers-in-law. Often, the son, unable to mediate, forces his elderly mother into an old age home. Our goal is to help these elderly individuals live their remaining years with dignity and peace. After joining our elderly home, they are able to socialize with others and forget the hardships they faced in their previous lives. It is incredibly rewarding to witness their improved health and the renewed sense of hope they gain from our support.

Your timely and generous help has been instrumental in allowing us to continue serving these elderly individuals. Without your support, it would be very difficult for us to provide the care and attention these needy elderly persons deserve. Thank you once again for your compassion and for helping make a significant difference in the lives of these vulnerable members of society.

With sincere appreciation,
SERUDS Team
