Introduction

Good Cause Foundation successfully conducted a Career Guidance to students in Eastern Uganda aimed at helping students understand different career opportunities, make informed decisions about their future, and stay motivated in their education journey. The seminar brought together students, teachers, mentors, volunteers, and community stakeholders from different schools within the region.

Objectives of the Seminar

  • To guide students on different career paths and opportunities
  • To help learners understand the importance of education and hard work
  • To inspire students to set goals for their future careers
  • To encourage confidence, discipline, and positive decision-making among young people

Activities Conducted

During the seminar, participants engaged in several educational and motivational activities, including:

  • Career guidance presentations and discussions
  • Motivation and mentorship sessions
  • Question-and-answer sessions with facilitators and mentors
  • Guidance on subject selection and career planning
  • Sharing experiences and advice with students

Participation and Impact

Students actively participated in the seminar and showed great interest in learning about future career opportunities. Many learners expressed increased confidence and a better understanding of how education can help them achieve their dreams.

Teachers and school leaders appreciated the seminar for motivating students to stay focused on their studies and make positive life choices.
