One Child, One Future: Educate to Liberate

For many children in rural Uganda, going to school is a daily struggle. Some arrive without breakfast, spend the day without lunch, and lack basic scholastic materials needed to participate fully in their lessons.

A hungry child may struggle to concentrate, while a child without a pen, book, pencil, or ruler may struggle to complete classroom work. These challenges can make the school experience even more difficult for children from vulnerable families.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing to caring donors to help provide breakfast and lunch alongside essential scholastic materials for children in rural schools. Our support can include exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, school bags and other learning materials.

We believe that supporting a child's education means looking at the whole learning experience—helping ensure that the child has something to eat and the basic tools needed to learn.

Your donation can help provide a meal to a hungry child and learning materials to a child who needs them.

Give School Supplies, Give Hope to a Child

The school gates have opened again. Since Monday, 14 September 2026, children across Uganda have returned to school for another term of learning and opportunity.

For some learners, however, the excitement of returning to school is accompanied by a difficult reality: they do not have all the scholastic materials they need.

A child should be able to sit in class and concentrate on learning rather than worry about having no pen, no exercise book, no pencil, or no school bag. Yet for vulnerable families, meeting these basic needs can be a serious challenge.

Good Cause Foundation Uganda is appealing to donors and compassionate supporters to help provide scholastic materials to children who need assistance.

We are seeking support for exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, mathematical sets, school bags, textbooks, and other essential learning materials.

You can help in whatever way you can afford. Your contribution may support one child, several children, or help us purchase supplies in larger quantities for schools and communities.

When we provide a child with the tools to learn, we are not simply giving school supplies. We are helping create hope, confidence, participation, and opportunity.

As this new term begins, let us come together and make sure vulnerable children are not left behind.
