Dear Global Giving donors,
How are you doing? I hope that everyone is doing well.
Kindly accept my gratitude for all the generous support you have given me over the course of my studies.
Last semester, I did not join many classes because most of the classes were in the evening on week days. I could not commit to enroll in these classes, because I finish work at 5 pm. The lecturers are very strict with the schedule, and each student only has three chances to be late or else they will fail the class. Therefore I only took 5 subjects; fortunately out of all these subjects there was only one subject in which I got a C. I plan to take this subject again during the next short semester.
It was YUM's 40th Anniversary celebrations in September. We held a bazar and invited our partners and friends to join us in celebrating this milestone. I did not fully participate in the event because it was the final exam week for my subjects. I am so thankful that my colleagues at work understand my situation. They have been kind enough to cover some of my responsibilities while I have been away on campus during this time. This has allowed me to do the best that I can in my studies and exams, and get the most benefit out of my university experience.
The fourth semester has already started. This semester, the students may choose their own subjects in line with their areas of interest. Because of my work commitments and the strict schedule of the classes, I am taking 4 subjects this semester. My subjects are Management Accounting 1, Taxes, Operation Management and Information Management Systems. The assignments are already given in the lectures, and include both individual and group tasks. I will need to buy more text books for the subjects I am taking this semester. I plan to keep dedicating my time to studying hard to achieve good results in my subjects, as I deeply appreciate this great opportunity.
A thousand Thank yous would not be enough to express how grateful I am at being supported by all of you, generous donors. Thank you!
Kind regards,
Paridi
