Dear GlobalGiving Donors,
After a short vacation at the end of 2016, the study continues. The final exam was held in the last week of January. I have already received my grades;they were good, but sadly not as good as before. I was sick for a week and was not able to follow a few classes. The student’s presence was also an influence on the final grade. Please accept my apology for this situation, I will do my best to do better in my study. On the positive side, I have been talking with the teachers about how I can bring my marks back up to the previous level, and have received good advice on strategies for next semester.
After the semester finished, I had two months holiday from the university. Classes started again in March. I spent most of my free time working and helping my family. I had the chance to bring them all to Bogor, West Java. All five of us went there by public train to attend my cousin’s wedding. My children were very happy; it has been such a long time since we all went together.
Time flies so fast; I cannot believe that now I am in my 5th semester. It still feels like yesterday that I was dreaming to study in the university. This semester I am studying Public Sector Accounting, Finance Accounting 2, Accounting theory, Business Statistics and Indonesian Economy. The classes will be filled with lectures and presentations. Beside individual assignments, I also have group assignments.
Thank you very much for all of your kind support. Step by step I am getting closer to pursuing my dream. I wish I will be able to graduate with good grades and apply my education to my work at YUM. Thank you once again.
Kind regards,
Paridi
