Dear Friends,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support to provide food aid to those affected by the El Nino. The long dry season is indeed an emergency as growing food will take a little bit of time for those affected. At this time we provided food aid to a total of 220 children with local donors also supporting us during the Christmas holidays. We target children especially those in schools because it is easy for us rather than going from mountain to mountain for the food distribution. While we do food distribution we also took the opportunity to conduct sanitation training for the children and introducing the importane of using toilets by them and their families.
We will continue with this approach this year and hope that we will get additional donations from you.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
