With your support, we have held many computer courses as we can. From Jan. to Mar. 2016, we have focused on two kinds of classes:
(learning how to use screen reader “NVDA”.)
(help visually impaired learning how to operate computer by using NVDA screen reader, also help them how to operate iPhone. iPhone canassist them to act independently, get information by internet access and use LINE to make more friends )
As before, we offer psychology counseling services. Firstly, our social workers talk over the visually impaired face to face and learn to know their real needs. Secondly, we will find licensed counselors to arrange therapy. After the therapy, we expect them to recover their mental health gradually.
In February one client cannot accept the death of his mother committed suicide. Our social worker got the phone call to learn that he swalloweda bottle ofsleeping pills. We immediately contacted the policeofficers to go to his residence to save him. Finally, hesuccessfullysaved. God bless him.
Maintain and Enlarge the TDTB DAISY Library continuously.
