Dear AGAPE friends,
We are delighted once more to keep you informed of the outcome of your donation to the AGAPE Center. We are happy to announce that AGAPE now has a dormitory for the most vulnerable kids with no stable home. This started on yesterday only, the 9th February 2015. There our most needy kids now have a safe home which they can now call their own. Thanks to the invaluable support of some volunteers, we received help from a company who accepted the sponsorship of a dormitory in AGAPE. The dormitory will be of great help to stabilize these kids since they were always out in the street begging, selling or wandering under the rain or the sun to fund their daily meal and individual needs.
Gatsi Germain, holds a Bachelor Degree in Psychology and a Professional Diploma in Family Assistance. He is to take care of the children by assisting them with the study at night and on Sundays. He will use his knowledge in psychology to enable us to coordinate and respond to these children psychological, educational and social needs in Agape Center.
Now meet the children in our dormitory:
The dormitory will help among other in monitoring their studies:
Alexandre will be able to have his homework done without any difficulties.
Lionel's studies can be monitor and he can no longer find himself roaming the street as he says; "I feel like a prisonner but i believe with time i will get over it".
Giovany now have a place to sleep that is clean and safe."I now sleep on a beautiful and confortable bed as compared to what I had before"
Our goal is to see these children becoming balanced, happy and successful people in the future. We hope to allow them become enough balanced to go back in their families in one to two years times. We feel so much joy seeing them in the streets less often working or begging but going to school, eating, playing and learning like any other children of their own age! We highly plead with everyone to keep giving and sharing love the way they can in order to change lives and our world for a better tomorrow.
Your actions and invaluable support has been one of our strength so far in showing love to the underprivileged. We did not want to miss this occasion of wishing you a very happy Valentine’s Day and to thank you for all the love and care you have shown to the children we support via Globalgiving. Please, feel free to comment and ask questions whenever necessary.
Love from New Bell!!!
