"I was Married off to a person i had never met at 18 years so that my brother could attend University.I didnt have a choice as i was sitll a young girl who had droped from school at the primary level and our culture does not allow us to negotiate with your father. The man Took me to his rural home. The relationaship was very bad as the husband beat me almost everyday when i asked for basic needs for me and my 2 children i had bore him.I resulted into walking many kilometers everyday to the city to look for casual jobs to support my kids as they were starving and malnuorished. With bear feet which most of the times was pricked by thorns, i walked to find livelihood, the dust was like socks by the time i reached my work destination.Sometimes i would get work and sometimes not.Life became unbearable and i returned home to my parents. With 2 kids life was so hard"
