Project Summary:
The project “Save Cholera Victims in DR Congo” aims to provide urgent medical care, clean water, and hygiene kits to displaced families and children affected by the cholera outbreak in South and North Kivu, Democratic Republic of Congo. In 2025 alone, over 18,000 cases and hundreds of deaths have been recorded, mainly in overcrowded camps where access to clean water and sanitation is nonexistent.
Objective:
Reduce the number of cholera infections and deaths, strengthen the resilience of local communities, and establish sustainable prevention measures for the future.
