Donate trees to help impoverished families in Peru

Dear Donors

We will change the climatic future of the region!

We have more than 2,000,000 seedlings that are under the care of our team, expert farmers and thousands of families in the highlands.

These trees improve the soil and the climate. They are refuge for the few animals that live in the area, and they mitigate and compensate for the planet's climate change.

Our projects are located in the districts of Accha, Huanoquite, Omacha, Ccapi and Ccapacmarca in the Cusco region.
The effects of the El Niño climatic phenomenon are already showing drought effects in the project area. For this reason, we are evaluating and looking for solutions together with the farming families to maintain the nursery care.

Together with the Forestry Committees and the Community Boards, we are geo-referencing the areas where we are going to plant the trees.

We also want to tell you that in July we culminated the integral project "Sowing prosperity in Accha". This project was executed from June 2020 to July 2023. Obtaining incredible results.

• 96 % of participation of the families (353 / 366)
• 88% of Home Improvements
• 131% of Productive Businesses
• 712 hectares planted (we planted cedar, alder, pine, avocado, peach, lucuma and rocoto).
• 5 Contests held between families, juries and communities.

We are grateful to find ourselves in a situation that allows us to continue serving the farming families.

900,000 trees for the planet

Dear Donors

 Thanks to the Pachamama!

The farming families of the Peruvian highlands succeeded in planting 900,000 trees in Cusco!

We are happy about the plantations of this 2022-2023 campaign. We overcame all the obstacles we faced, such as the late start of the rainy season and the problems of road closures.

The families managed to plant 900,000 trees that improve the soil and climate, that serve as shelter for the few animals that live in the area, that mitigate and compensate for climate change.

Definitely these trees are the future of the farming families, in 2 years they will have their first production of pine mushrooms that will serve to improve their food and their economy through the sale.

They are also training and strengthening the forestry committees of the communities on the care of the trees due to animal damage and programming activities to prevent forest fires.

The project coordinators are starting the new production of seedlings.

The families are preparing for the up coming competitions in the Accha District.

Also the juries are preparing for this big qualification day next month.

All the nurseries are startingtheir new production of seedlings and installing irrigation systems to ensure their growth and we will be watching the care of these new plants in the nurseries.
