During last October, we crossed the threshold of 1,100 births, all of whom were born safe and healthy in SEMA hospitals in northern Syria, while 335 of them were born by caesarean section, and 774 were born naturally.
In the normal case, the newborn faces new and harsh conditions to adapt to life outside his mother's body, but in northern Syria, more difficulties await newborns, starting from maternal malnutrition, low birth weight, premature births, and excessive prematurity.
There are high rates of congenital diseases globally in northern Syria, and this is what we are trying to work on with your support.
Your support enables cot deaths to be reduced faster and supports our staff's efforts to save the lives of the youngest and most vulnerable patients.
We cannot face all this without you. Your support is the basis of our work. Your charity is life.
