Since January, the project has continued to offer cultural outings and hands-on activities. Recently, students attended special sessions at the local media library, where they joined writing workshops on the theme of “The city” and learned how to use professional resources.
On top of these workshops, the group worked with an artist to write their own slam and they will soon record their own videoclip. To help them build orientation skills, teamwork, and independence, the group also joined an urban treasure hunt. A graffiti workshop at the college gave students a chance to discover urban art and express their creativity.
We are starting to see a strong group bond and a positive atmosphere. Most students are showing better behavior and growing self-confidence. This progress is also clear in their school life, with fewer absences and a small overall rise in grades.
Regarding our environmental initiatives, the group has begun working on sustainable development themes. Through awareness and "conscientization" workshops, students explore these concepts by creating their own vision of a sustainable city. Most recently, the Tremplin group expanded their practical knowledge with a visit to the Lingenheld sorting centre to learn about waste management and recycling firsthand.
