Dear Donors,
Thank you for remembering families facing hunger in northeast Nigeria.
Zakat is a reminder that those who have enough can help those who are struggling.
Today, there are families in Borno, Adamawa and Yobe who are struggling to find enough food for their homes after years of conflict and displacement.
More than 2.3 million people have been displaced across northeast Nigeria. Many families have lost their homes, farms, livestock and sources of income.
For a mother, this can mean wondering how she will feed her children.
For an older person, it can mean depending on others for food and medicine.
For a child, it can mean growing up with hunger as part of everyday life.
These families need support beyond a single season.
Through this project, Clarion Times Foundation plans to use Zakat to provide food parcels, nutritious meals, clean water and basic healthcare to vulnerable Muslim families.
Children, women, older people, people with disabilities and families facing the greatest hardship will receive special consideration.
Your Zakat can become food for a hungry family and care for someone who has nowhere else to turn.
May Allah accept your Zakat and reward every person who remembers families facing hardship.
Please share this project with others who may wish to give.
With gratitude,
Zahra Yasir
