Over the past few months, we've faced some challenges. However, thanks to the construction of additional 250-meter fences, we were able to successfully contain two fire incidents that resulted in the destruction of only 200 meters of land. Additionally, on the positive side, we have planted 5,000 new seedlings, using an innovative hydrogel plantation method in our 30-acre reforestation area in preparation for the upcoming dry season in September.
Looking ahead, our goal is to plant a total of 8,000 seedlings by the end of this year. Out of these, 3,000 will be sourced from our newly established seedling house. We are committed to furthering our efforts in restoring the Atlantic forest, and to achieve this, we plan to increase our seedling production capacity to 10,000 per year.
We want to express our immense gratitude to everyone who has supported our reforestation work. Your contributions are essential to our progress, and we will keep you updated as our seedlings continue to grow and thrive.
