As we move into the dry season, our main focus shifts to the maintenance of the 30-hectare land. With the decrease in rainfall, the soil dries up, and planting becomes less feasible, allowing us to concentrate on tasks such as managing grass growth.
Meanwhile, our new native tree nursery has been buzzing with activity. In the past three months, we've planted around 2000 seedlings, collected by our team during their regular walks through the forest, such as white aloe, green ipe, and Brazilian pepper trees. We're halfway through the year and on track to meet our goal of planting 10,000 seedlings.
As we move forward into the next three months, our main focus stays on grass control, fire prevention measures, and continuing to plant native trees in the nursery. Please keep supporting us as this phase requires significant maintenance and manpower to ensure the sustained growth and management of the area.
Please don't hesitate to share with friends and family!!
