Dear Donors,
We sincerely thank the donors who have supported the Stop the Cycle of HIV: Support Women and Children! project. Your generosity reflects care for families affected by HIV and the need to protect future generations. We truly appreciate the support received so far, however, the funds available at this time are still not sufficient to begin the planned services.
In many communities across Nigeria, women and children remain at high risk of HIV due to limited access to testing, treatment, and support. Many pregnant women are unable to receive early care, increasing the risk of passing the virus to their babies.
Stigma and financial barriers continue to prevent families from seeking help. Without timely intervention, preventable infections and health complications persist, affecting both mothers and children.
This project is designed to provide free testing, treatment, and follow-up care for women and children in underserved areas. It will also include education to help families understand prevention and care options.
With access to proper treatment and support, more mothers can give birth to HIV-free children, and families can live healthier lives. Early care can make a strong difference in reducing new infections and improving outcomes.
We are grateful for the support already shown toward this effort. With additional contributions, it will be possible to begin reaching those who urgently need care and support.
Sincerely,
Joy Ojochogwu Etubi
