Parents -Teacher -Trainees Meeting

Dear Patron !

The mostly rural girls are always shy as they are told to listen to their family men. These girls turn into women later but this problem never gets solved. The parents of these girls never know the talent or mistakes of their girls. Rural parents do not give their children a time when they can check the achievements or listen to their daughter’s ambition. This problem is the starting of every other problem the girl faces in her life as because of this she never get courage to speak her feelings.

In this context, RSKS India conducted Parents Teacher Meeting at the Garment Making & Beautician vocational education Training Program of RSKS India. In this parents teacher meeting, all the parents of the girls and women trainees were called and then the master trainer showcased them the talent of their daughter or daughter in law. The master trainer also shared the mistakes or problems the girls and women are facing to their parents so that their parents can understand it and they will also try to solve it. The parents were amazed to see the talent of their child and encouraged their daughter to learn more to become successful in the respective field. At the end of the parents teacher meeting, snacks were distributed to everyone who attended the program.

The parents teacher meeting conducted at the vocational education school of RSKS India gave a morale boost to all the girls and women trainees. These girls and women were able to showcase their talent in front of their parents. The trainees got appreciation from their parents as well as other’s parents also. The parents were amazed to see the talent of their daughter or of their daughter in law. The parents encouraged and motivated their children to do what they want to do. Communication gap between the daughters and parents was filled. All the parents, girls and women who attended the meeting thanked.

Sports Activities for Women & Girls

Sports is considered as very good for mind and for the body but still there are so many people who do not play any sports or do not get chance to play sports. Most of these people are rural girls and women as they are busy with the household work and due to the conservative thinking of the society, these women and girls are unable to play any sports. Sports are beneficial for the well being of any person and everyone should play sports for better physical and mental health.

In this context, RSKS India team members conducted sports activities in the vocational schools of RSKS India in which women and girl trainees come. The vocational school of Beauty Parlour and Garment Making were selected for the sports activities and then sports activities like sac race, spoon race, jalebi race etc. were organized by the RSKS team members in which the women and girl trainees of beauty parlour and garment making training participated enthusiastically. These women and girls were encouraged by the RSKS team members and at the end of the program all the women and girls who participated and won were given prizes by the RSKS team members and all other women and girls got snacks to eat.

This sports activity program at the vocational training schools was being appreciated by the women and girl trainees as well as by their guardian when they came to know about it. This program gave morale boost to these women and girls and their confidence was increased. This program also benefitted all these women and girls mentally and physically. Theses women and girls got something different to do from their regular routine work and also they got to understand that how important sports activities are for every individual. They also got motivated by the prizes they received. All the women and girl trainees of the vocational training schools thanked RSKS India for conducting sports activities for them.

A little effort for Employment !!

Skilful women and girls living in rural and backward areas are unable to find any job for them as it is very difficult for them to go to the city area and work. Most of these women are also not selected because they are not having any training certificate and people do not believe them easily. These women do not find any opportunities in their area where they can let the employers know about their talent. Also the employers need some recommendations which these rural and backward area women do not have.

In this context and while keeping in mind all these problems, RSKS India conducted Job Fair program at the beauty parlour training program of RSKS India. In this job fair program, the successful entrepreneurs were called so that they can select the trainees and also trainees got the chance of getting selected directly from the training. The successful entrepreneurs looked at the work of every trainee very precisely and were amazed to see the good work the trainees were doing. All the trainees gave their best and some of them got selected in the job fair. At the end of the program all the remaining women and girls were encouraged by the successful entrepreneurs and RSKS team as they told these women their stories.

Many women got direct employment from the training itself. The job fair increased the confidence and hard work of the trainees of beauty parlour and now all these women are motivated to work in more better way. Now the girls who got selected in the Job Fair will be earning for their family and this will make them self-reliant. All the girls and women trainees of beauty parlour training thanked RSKS India from bottom of their heart for conducting Job Fair at the training.
