It is true that there is so much potential in the rural area of India but it is unutilized due to so many reasons. In terms of employment, the rural area has seen a differentiation than the urban one. Employment resources in the village are limited. In this situation, rural young women and girls face more problems. These women are unable to do any employment even after wanting and they do not have the necessary skills for self-employment. And due to sitting at home they are either married or the married one's do only household work and therefore the rural women and girls are unable to help their family financially.
Keeping an eye on these problems, RSKS India conducted inauguration of garment making training in a rural area. 15 girls and women belonging from rural and marginalized community were selected for the training. The garment making training will be of two Months, in which women and young girls will be taught sewing techniques in order to make them self-reliant. The sessions in the training will be both theoretical as well as practical. In the inauguration program the village official as well as the guardians of these girls and women were also present. The master trainer and village official also shared their views with the women and girls so that they can successfully benefit from this garment making training program of RSKS India.
The desire of self-employment will be seen in these women after this garment making training, for which the organization will make every effort. The aim of the organization is that women of rural areas should become self-sufficient and they can get the means of employment while sitting at home and with this training this aim will be achieved. Through this garment making training, these women and girls will be able to support their family financially by creating their own employment. This program gave new hope to these women and girls.
