Support children at Jonah House to go to preschool

Dear donator,

What we expect most toward the preschool is to promote the children’s social and emotional development.Children at Jonah House came from careless or dis-functional families, so most of them did not obtain sufficient stimulus and interaction until living here.  We hope preschool supply these children much more chances to develop their interaction and social abilities.

Now, our little boys are always looking forward to their preschool time every day, especially a boy who just attended the preschool two months ago.  A boy Wei has just lived in Jonah House for a few months, and he attended the preschool in September. Making new friends may interest him most in the preschool.

Although there are only two children at preschool age in this moment, the benefit brought from this project is very obvious. A boy who came to Jonah House at around one and half years old was always in unstable emotion. After he went to preschool for several months at three years old, he has become more and more stable. It seemed because he made new friends and learned more social skill which let him interact with people smoothly. Now he is not as shy as before. He also knows more about when he has to behave or how people will react if he has bad manners.
