Unbelievable we are nearly done with the first quarter of the year. So much has happened with the children at Fikelela. Some of them had passed to the next grade and two or three of them are having to repeat their grades. Which we understand and agree with. Supporting them is the most important part of the journey.
Using the Jerry program has been so instrumental with the children as we are having been teaching them about acceptance, especially around situations and adding consequences around behaviour to the teaching.
The talking flower and passing it around to the children where they can share their feelings and emotions has been one of our most useful resources. Respect is shown the children listen to each other and are even offering to support the ones who must repeat their grades.
Jerry was used during the school vacation and our boys loves for Jerry to visit as they associate love, being cared for, nurturing and development as part of their growth with Jerry.
On behalf of our young beneficiaries, we thank each and every donor who contributes to the growth of the children at Fikelela.
With much love and appreciation.
