Glendy lives with her mother and father in Escuintla. She has two older sisters, Roxana and Mayra. She also has one brother. All together are nine people living at Glendy's home, including other family members. They all live in ahome that is made of cocrete nd laminate. The houe that they have is their own. They do have access to clen water in or near their home and they do have electricity in their home.
Glendy¿s mother is a house wife, shee takes cre of the home and also takes care of Glendy during the day. Her father works in the farm.
Before Glendy came to Casa Jackson, she was in the hospital. After being discharged from the hospital, she was referred to Casa Jackson for further care, regarding malnourishment. When she first came in she was severe malnourished because her family poor living conditions, she was weighing just 19 poiunds. She was only able to speak "baby talks", crawl, walk, make eye contact and eat with a spoon. Throught the day, Glendy enjoys walking with her friends all around Casa Jackson. She is more friendly and active after receiving the nutritional treatment, physical theray and lots of love. She is very active and gaining weight and growing so fast.
She keeps receiving everything she needs to recover from malnoutrition. At Casa Jackson Glendy is receiving love and care to be able to go home soon and safe.
