3 Generations continues to keep memories of victims and survivors of genocide alive with our feature films. HERE LIVED(2023), our latest feature film, is the story of hidden children, murdered parents, generational trauma, and one artist’s singular vision for healing: the conceptualization, development, and lasting emotional significance of the Stolpersteine project.
We are honored that HERE LIVED was screened on April 23, 2025, at Congregation Neveh Shalom in Portland, Oregon, in commemoration of Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day). 3G could not imagine a more meaningful way to observe this solemn occasion. The event was attended by more than 200 people, including Holocaust survivors, descendants, families of victims, documentary enthusiasts, and community supporters. Among the descendants present was the daughter of a survivor whose Stolpersteine was recently installed. Her father immigrated to Portland from Hilversum, the Netherlands, following the end of World War II.
