Project Report | Feb 22, 2026
Let's continue to support our children's success!

By Margarita Bejarano | Teacher

Hello everyone

I hope you are all well. It is a pleasure to greet you again...

We are starting a new school year with lots of energy and activities in mind. We are very happy to continue working in our communities, but above all with our children.

Last year, we served more than 300 children and prepared approximately 96 children to move on to first grade. All of them have a solid foundation to continue progressing in first grade.

Although this is a great achievement for Let's Be Ready, we continue to learn new ideas and methods to further develop the skills of each of our children. That is why last month we held our beginning-of-the-year workshop, reinforcing topics such as Learning Corners and Laterality. We also updated ideas for adaptation during the first weeks of school and learned new practical strategies for the classroom based on neuroeducation. We learned a lot during that workshop.

Thanks to the success of our program, this year we have 25 educational centers in different communities in San Martín Jilotepeque, Patzicía, Tecpán, Santo Domingo Xenacoj, and Antigua. And this year we are already serving more than 350 children. Although this is a great achievement for our program, there are still communities that continue to need our support for preschool education. That is why we appeal to your noble hearts to continue helping the program with your contributions. Believe me, they make a difference.

In addition, thanks to the nutritious drink called Chispuditos that our children drink, we have seen firsthand how necessary and nutritious it is. However, in order to purchase it and distribute it to our different communities, we also need your support. Since it is so effective, we need more children to drink it so that they can obtain the nutrients necessary for their age and at the right time

There is still much to be done, and with each passing year, more communities need our support. So this year, we are exploring more places we could reach. We hope we can always count on your support.

Thank you for trusting and believing in us. We hope this cycle will be very successful for everyone and that we will achieve even more with our children.
