April '24 - New Trip Dates
By Rob Bollinger | Founder and President of Nehemiah's Restoration
As we begin 2024, we are excited to continue our efforts to move forward with this project. Unfortunately political unrest and Covid got in the way last year and prevented us from making the critical trip to the field to finalize our relationship with two new community groups. As we have stated before, we intend to build community toilets in the geographical location where these groups are located and finalizing a relationship with them will solidify our ability to build in the area. In April, we will finally be making the trip to the field. We would ask that you pray that nothing gets in the way of this trip from finally happening and that the Lord would bless the work we plan to accomplish during it!

First Trip to Field Since the Pandemic
By Rob Bollinger | Founder and President of Nehemiah's Restoration
We are so excited to announce that the trip to Kenya we had to postpone earlier this year is back on!!! Our Founder and President, Rob Bollinger, and our Vice President Robbie Bollinger, will get to travel to the field at the end of October and after not getting to travel to the field since before the Pandemic, there's a lot to catch up on!
During this trip, we will get to have some of our final meetings with the two potential community groups we hope to partner with in the new year. These meetings will be a crucial step for us in determining if we can go through with these partnerships. We will offer trainings, hear from the groups about their experiences working with Orphaned and Vulnerable Children(OVC), and brainstorm what our memorandum of understanding with them will look like. Once we initiate these partnerships, we will be able to finalize a location for the toilet we will build in a central location for both groups. Please be praying with us that our meetings are successful and that the overall trip goes well!

Political Unrest Postpones Training
By Rob Bollinger | Founder and President of Nehemiah's Restoration
Due to unforeseen political unrest in Kisumu and Siaya counties, we unfortunately had to postpone our training with the two community groups we hope to work with. In fact, our Founder and President Rob Bollinger, and Vice President and Executive Director of Medical Health Services Robbie Bollinger PA-C, had to postpone their entire trip to Kenya during which the training would have happened, because of the unrest. Instead, they will visit for a longer period of time in October when we will be able to host the training as well as have crucial meetings with these two groups which will be key in us deciding if we will be able to finalize our partnership. Once those partnerships are finalized, we will be able to select a central location where we will build the second toilet. We are so appreciative of your patience and support in this endeavor! We know that this toilet will have a huge impact on the communities we work with!
