Kannan is mildly autistic with a below average IQ. He studied up through 9th grade but could not pass all of his courses and complete his studies.
He came to us when he was 20 and spent two years learning touch typing and a couple of other computer programs. He also received remedial studies in reading, writing and basic math. He really enjoyed his computer training and learned a lot.
Kannan wasn't sure he would be able to find a job, but a photographer hired him as an assistant and he is now learning Photoshop so he can one day earn an income and become self-sufficient.
