Your Gift Changed Life For A Couple With Polio

Your impact is in action at a local park in Chennai, India, at a small cart adorned with colorful paper lanterns, manned by a couple who greet each customer with infectious smiles.
Though polio had left Das and Lakshmi unable to walk, their laughter and loving partnership radiates joy as they scoop popcorn and pour tea for their customers.
Your gifts provided the resources and mentoring they needed to start a small popcorn and tea stand. They even get invited to serve tea at private events like weddings! You gave them such fullfillment knowing that they could provide for their family through their own hard work. Thanks to the resources you provided and business coaching, Das and his wife had found a new sense of purpose and financial stability in their lives.

Your support helps families like Lokesh’s cope with these challenges and provides them with opportunities to build a better future. Lokesh’s parents faced difficulties in balancing work and caring for their son who needed constant attention. However, with your support, they were able to start their own business selling snacks.
You can see in the picture the equipment you bought to make this dream a reality!
This business has provided flexibility to take care of Lokesh’s needs and also earn enough money to support the family. Lokesh even assists them in packaging the snacks and be a meaningful part of the family business!

You Made A Difference For A Man With Dwarfism

Thank you for making a difference in the life of Elaya, a man with dwarfism who was relegated to the lower rungs of society in India.
People with disabilities, particularly in India, face a host of challenges that often result in them being pushed to the margins. They struggle to access even the most basic services, let alone education and employment opportunities.
Through your kindness and generous support, Elaya received a computer education and landed a great computer job that not only helped him break free from poverty but also gave him a renewed sense of self-worth.
But your gifts goes way beyond computer training. You invest in their entire wellness. When Elaya started experiencing pain in his leg doctors found one leg was shorter than the other and he needed special footwear. By your generosity we were able to help Elaya get the equipment he needs to walk pain free. Your gifts helped Elaya to live a more fulfilling life!
