Third report for 2020

Third report for the year 2020, in these difficult economic times worldwide we would like to thank our donors in a very special way. With their donation, 24 older adults had access to their surgery, and now, they enjoy a better quality of life in relation to visual functioning. Thanks to their generosity, they make it possible for older people who need surgery and do not have economic resources to access quality ophthalmic services.
Thanks to GlobalGiving's fundraising and the efforts of ACREC's operational and medical team, 17 women and 7 men had access to ophthalmic services during the last three months, providing more than 90 ophthalmic consultations, diagnostic studies and preoperative protocol. To date we can report the success of the surgical treatments and in the long term we can report the positive impact on these patients by changing their lives.

Second Report 2020

The situation in the world due to the pandemic has had a negative impact on almost all areas, which is why, despite the situation, we would like to thank you for your enormous effort to continue supporting those who need it most. In this second report for 2020, on behalf of the institution and the beneficiaries, we would like to thank in a very special way all the donors who have continued to support and who, thanks to their generosity, make it possible for elderly people who need surgery and who do not have economic resources to have access to quality ophthalmological services.
It has been a hard work together with the doctors, the surgical team, the administrative staff and the beneficiaries who have given everything to succeed in the interventions.
After their discharge we are sure that, thanks to their support and joint work, we have changed the lives of the visually impaired. They now enjoy a better quality of life in relation to visual functioning.

First Report 2020

In this first report of the year 2020, on behalf of the Institution and the beneficiaries, we thank all the donors who have made it possible for the elderly who need surgery and who do not have economic resources to have access to quality ophthalmological services.
It has been a hard work together with the doctors, operating team, staff and beneficiaries who have put everything in their hands for the success of the interventions. After their discharge we are sure that thanks to their support and joint work, we have changed the lives of visually impaired people. Now they enjoy a better quality of life in relation to visual functioning.
