Learning Centre for waste pickers children, India

Dear Friends ,

Many greetings and good wishes to you from BASS Learning centre for waste picker families children, Guntur 

We are very sad to inform you that this project could not get any donation support for the last  9 months except with 20$. 

This learning centre is working for the welfare of the 50 children who identify as child labour at slum in Guntur for the wastepiker  families living area. 

This  centre is operating in the morning from 7 am to 8.30 Am and evening 5 p.m to 730 P.M. Two expert teachers are  taking care of the children and guiding them for best behaviour, teaching them in all class wise subjects and completing their homework . Children are already admitted in local schools, the children's attendance is improved in local regular primary and high schools. And children are performing well in the regular schools. 

And we are also giving daily breakfast in the morning and evening meal to the children 

We are very happy that more than 40 children in the centre are changing their behaviour  with good habits, life skills and education. Their parents also like to send children to go schools andour learning centre. Children stop to go for waste picking with their parents. 

The Local authorities from government, social workers other like minded people visiting the centre and appreciating the services of this learning centre

We wish to continue this centre with daily breakfast and evening meal with  best education to improve studies and behaviour 

We request you to kindly support this project to continue to serve 50 children
