Exhibition at the International Women’s Day
Out of more 200 groups of Women that attended Kole District -Uganda International women’s Day celebration that took place on the 08/05/2024; the only group of women that conducted the exhibition of their product (what they are doing at the Institute of knowledge) that needed support not only from the International community but also from the local community.
At the stall: the girls displayed their skills, their knowledge of home management at Institute of knowledge, their future plans, their hopes, their ambitions, their activities and their products that are the results of their trianing including the awareness of their donors on the platform of GlobalGiving. The women member of parliament of Kole District who happened to visit their stall directly was very excited and promised to visit them at their Institute within a month’s time.

Participation at the Women’s Day
Kole Intellectual Forum was one of the many institutions and women’s groups that was selected by Kole District authorities to actively participate at the District International Women’s Day celebration scheduled to take place on the 08/05/2024 at one of the public primary school within the District in the name of Okwerodot Public primary School in Kole District northern Uganda.
Amidst the attendees were the women’s member of parliament of that particular area, the Chairperson, District officials both polical and civil servants, so many women’s groups, Civil Society Organizations, and a number of welwishers
A number of activities to encourage women’s participation in development were witnesses; and kole Intellectual was very grateful to be among the organizations who exhibited their products at the event.
We will not forget to express our joy for the support the donors from GlobalGiving is giving to our organization. The support we are getting has made us to express oursleves in very many ways and also be visible verywhere we go. At th e event, we lebeled No. 1 and we were made to lead the band at the function.

International Women’s Day: Preparation in stock
It took Kole Intellectual Forum a full week to prepare for their to get ready for the participation of the International Women’s Day that had been delegated to their district at the national level to reach down to all the district in Uganda. Although International Women’s Day are yearly celebrated on the 8th of March across the global to remember the efforts the women are putting towards the development of the world a long side with men; locally, the government of Uganda has delegated all the districts across the country to organize their individual Internantional women’s day after the national once had been celebrated at the very specific date (8/3/2024)
For the case of Kole District, the International women was celebrated on the 8/5/2024; of whick Kole Intellectual Forum was a part of; the funny part of it is that: it took one and half week for Kole Intellectual Forum to prepere
