Are the strongest quotes that Kole Intellectual Forum cherishes; and it is doing it, to the best of its skills to see that it implements it in all ways. Fortunately, with the help of GlobalGiving, contribution from some Donors, and other Development partners; including, the members of the organization (Kole Intellectual Forum), the institution has assumed that: without instituting a body that, where, ideas (data) can be generated, discussed, interpreted, diagnosed, and treated among the communities it is working for; especially, the post war community of Northern Uganda; their campaign to improve on quality education of the children of common men that because of government policy of privatizing education and because of the war that disintegrated community from their schools; are making these children in these schools to perform poorly; their struggles would not realize a better decisions that can make a better world.

Hence, because of that:

1. Kole Intellectual Forum has partly allocated some fund it generated from: the donors through GlobalGiving project http://goto.gg/31562; other partners in development and its members to construct Academic Centre of Excellence at Apach Parish, Aboke Sub County, Kole District, Northern Uganda. It is about 80% of completion as per the photo attached. When completed, it will be a place where better data will be generated, better decisions arrived, and strongest believe because of that we will transform our society, leading to better world.
2. Having being led by data collected in the last three years ago (2016); and having found out that, education is a sector that was most affected by war and government policy on education; particularly, in Northern Uganda, with Girls doubled marginalized; Kole Intellectual Forum, therefore, concentrated our its activities on supporting mainly seventeen girls of Angic primary school, in Bala Sub County in Kole District, Kole district, Northern Uganda. In the history of the school, the 17 girls managed to complete primary seven successfully in 2018. The only challenge is that, because of the aftermath effect of war; not all their parents are able to take them to the next level of education.
3. Advocacy on the patronage of education

By November 2018, Kole intellectual Forum has launch a number of strategies to campaign for the patronage of education particularly in Kole district:

                            PROGRESSIVE REPORT OF KOLE INTELLECTUAL FORUM

After transformation week, the initiative of Kole Intellectual Forum, that took place at Angic Primary school around June 2018, Bala Sub-County, Kole District, Northern Uganda; the fund received by our organization, (Kole Intellectual Forum) used for the following under listed issues; purposely, to assist in improving on quality education of the post war underprivileged children of common men in the public school of Angic primary school in Uganda.

1)      The main focus area has been to address the issues that enable the 17 underprivileged candidate girls to remain at school and to encourage them to continue with their education to the next level; hence, a part from providing them with school uniform; Kole intellectual Forum has endeavored to procure for them sanitary pads and some first aid kit, provide them with scholastic materials, netball, netball uniform and changing dresses; that is helping them during their time of periods; as well as, paying for their medical bills. Boys were also equally supported, in terms of scholastic materials and other miscellaneous educational materials, like pens and books.   

2)      Balance diet were also provided to candidate pupils (38 of them) every week end.

3)      A number of sets of examination (pre-Uganda primary leaving Examinations) were also procured and they were made to do them before Uganda Primary Leaving Examination; that took on the 5th and 6th of Novermber 2018.

4)        Using the fund; the resource was also used to motivate teachers; and they were able to: teach for extra lesson; mark the scripts; and make corrections willingly. And because of that, there is high hope that, after 16 year down the road; Angic Primary school that had been the last and the waste performing school in Uganda; it will, for the first time realize children in the first grade.

5)      In the same way, through the fund the Community has been Integrated to school; and because of that,  Kole Intellectual Forum, has and is implementing outreaching program. that makes it easier for them to bring  community closer to their schools and schools to the community. For instances:

i)                    With support from Twaweza East as well as fund from GlobalGiving; 60 volunteers, 3 village coordinators, and one district Coordinator of Kole District; were engaged in conducting research from more than 600 households with more than 24,000 respondents; attached to 30 schools within Kole District. After a number of research questions were asked, the findings indicated that, there is high rate of dropout in this district, with girls leading as to compare to boys. Another indication is that, only about 5% of the 18,000 children age 6 to 16 tested were able to under literacy and numeracy. And above all, the drinking water tested within these households, about 80% are assumed to be contaminated.

ii)                  After the research, facilitated advocacy meetings were held in nearly all the numeration areas or the sampled areas; as a result, quiet a number of these community formed their individual village education committee and water management committee. They agreed to find ways of addressing their problem.

iii)                During that same meeting, the out of school children were advice to go back to school next year, 2019; and the chairperson Local Council II together with Kole Intellectual Forum are facilitating the prgram
